Land Trades

A Nebraska Statute (72-253) permits the Board to enter into land trades. However, the statute specifies that “before such an exchange shall be made, it shall be shown that the Board of Educational Lands and Funds will likely be benefited by the exchange.”

Therefore, if you are interested in acquiring School Trust land and would prefer to trade for such land, the Board will consider trade proposals.
